Job Description:

Job Title: Social Media Specialist

Location: Remote (Worldwide)

Job Type: Full-Time

Working Hours: MST (Mountain Standard Time)

Job Overview

We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to manage and grow social media presence across our client portfolio. This is a hands-on role focused on producing organic content, owning platform calendars, engaging communities, and reporting on performance across Meta, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube. You own day-to-day execution and accountability for organic social outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Content Planning & Production

  • Build monthly and weekly content calendars per client account, aligned with campaign and brand objectives
  • Produce on-brand organic content: static posts, carousels, short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Shorts), and platform-native copy
  • Brief design and video editors on visual assets when external production is required
  • Adapt and repurpose content across platforms, tailoring format and voice per channel

Platform Management & Publishing

  • Schedule and publish content using approved tools (Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer, Sprout Social, or equivalent)
  • Maintain consistent posting cadence and platform-native best practice (formats, hashtags, captions, alt text)
  • Manage account hygiene: bio updates, link-in-bio, pinned posts, story highlights

Community Management

  • Monitor inboxes, comments, and mentions during agreed coverage hours; respond in client voice and within SLA
  • Escalate sensitive or off-brief queries to client managers; flag PR risks early
  • Build and maintain reply playbooks (FAQs, objection handling, brand voice rules)

Reporting & Insights

  • Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports per client: reach, engagement, follower growth, top content, conversion signals
  • Translate performance data into plain-language insights and next-step recommendations
  • Maintain documentation of content learnings, A/B tests, and platform changes

Trend & Platform Awareness

  • Track platform algorithm updates, format launches, and trending audio/topics relevant to client verticals
  • Apply trends quickly and selectively — only where they reinforce client brand and KPIs

Requirements

  • 3+ years managing organic social media for client accounts (agency experience strongly preferred)
  • Proven track record growing audience and engagement across at least three of: Meta, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube
  • Hands-on experience producing short-form video content (in-app editing or Premiere Pro / CapCut)
  • Proficiency with at least one publishing/scheduling tool (Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer, Sprout Social, or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of social analytics: native platform insights plus at least one reporting tool (Looker Studio, Google Analytics, or platform exports)
  • Strong written English — captions, community responses, and internal documentation
  • Availability to work full-time in MST hours

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting paid social campaigns (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads) — even at a coordination or asset-prep level
  • Background in automotive, B2B, or local-service marketing verticals
  • Experience using AI tools for content ideation, captions, or visual generation
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite)

Additional Information

  • Remote role – open worldwide
  • Full-time position (no freelance)
  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Immediate start

How to Apply

Submit your CV and links to social accounts you have managed (or case studies showing growth, engagement, and content samples). Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
